If you are working in RGB mode and you use the Color palette to select a color that can't translate to CMYK, you'll see this warning icon  appear on the palette. It indicates that you've chosen an out-of-gamut color. The closet CMYK equivalent appears next tot he triangle warning. Click on the CMYK equivalent to substitute it for the out-of-gamut RGB color.
